Martha MacDiarmid is a dynamic Script Editor and Development Executive working across feature film, television, and animation. With a strong track record in shaping standout stories, she brings a rare combination of creative instincts, editorial precision, and industry insight.
As a former Head of Development and Head of Production, Martha has led the development of both original and existing IP, collaborating closely with writers, directors, and producers to shape projects from initial concept to pitch-ready properties.
A graduate of the National Film and Television School’s prestigious Script Development program, Martha is known for her sharp story sense, thoughtful collaboration, and ability to unlock the heart of a project. She specialises in character-driven narratives with emotional depth, humour, and ambition, and thrives on helping creatives turn great ideas into great scripts.
